Circuit Welcomes Rev. Beacom and Family

The new minister and Manse family of Castlederg Methodist Circuit was officially welcomed to the circuit on Sunday 5th July by the Rev. Sam McGuffin, District Superintendent.

The Rev. John Beacom and his wife Elaine are from Lisbellaw in County Fermanagh. This is John's first circuit although he has been a local preacher for 15 years. John worked previously in the timber trade and his hobbies and interests include football, reading and playing the bagpipes !!!

Mrs Beacom is a Nursing Auxiliary and has worked with stroke patients in the Erne Hospital for 8 years.

They have four children, Claire who works in an Accountancy Firm in Belfast, Kyle and Christopher who work in Fisher Engineering in Ballinamallard and Natalie, who is currently studying for her A’ Levels.

Due to the relocation of our manse the Beacom family won't permanently move to the circuit for another few weeks but John will be working hard over the summer getting to know his way around the circuit and the church of people that make it up.

We wish the Beacom family all of God's richest blessings, happiness, protection and strength over the summer as they make their transition and for the years ahead as they bring the Gospel message to us all. We would all ask that you join with us in praying for them and this new chapter in their lives.

Just was seaching the Beacom name and came across this site. been trying to find my family roots. As far as I know my Beacom's came from this town. Plus always nice to meet another Beacom. Bonnie
