Tuesday 4th May Saw The Official Start To Fundraising
Tuesday evening came and went and for most of us it was dark wet event. However the feeling was warm and bright within the first Fundraising Committee Meeting.
The Fundraising Folks got their thinking caps on and with an annual target of Three Thousand Pounds to a achieve this was going to be no mean achievement.
Ideas were produced from Cake Sales to Calendar Girls. Thankfully Rev. Ewing was there to divide the sheep from the goats and we are pleased to announce the following forthcoming events:
Grand Auction, Wesley Hall, Castlederg – Saturday 12th June 2004: Lots will be held in the Wesley Hall the week before the event and all lots will be more than welcome. Viewing will be on the Saturday morning and the Auction hopefully will take place at 1pm sharp.

Sunday School Sponsored Walk in Gortin Glen – Saturday 26th June 2004: Sponsorship forms are being produced as we speak to allow the little darlings to do their bit for Cavandoragh Church. The walk will include a picnic and everyone is asked to give generously to encourage everyone to take part. Don’t forget Mums and Dads the sponsorships forms are for each ‘Family’ J
Barbecue At Baronscourt Castle – Friday 3rd September 2004: Subject to permission we hope to hold a Steak Barbecue Evening at Baronscourt Castle in early September to celebrate the children all going back to school. Sorry, I mean to celebrate the great summer which isn’t really predicted ! ! Keep your eye on the notices and Website Calendar for more info.
In additon to the above events, an appeal is being prepared to be sent to Methodist Churches throughout Ireland.
